The German Bundesliga wasn’t the only Bundesliga to have become a one-horse race over the last decade.

Indeed, while Bayern Munich were stringing together a 10-year run of titles, Red Bull Salzburg were doing the same. They were the dominant force at the top of Austrian football and it was difficult to envisage them ever being toppled.

Last season, however, witnessed the downfall of a dynasty as Sturm Graz won the Austrian Bundesliga, also lifting the Austrian Cup for good measure. Die Schwoazn are in this season’s Champions League.

Sunday’s match against Salzburg presents Sturm Graz with an opportunity to re-assert their supremacy. Many, however, believe the country’s new footballing order might only be a temporary thing.

Can anyone stop the Red Bull-owned club from gaining wings again?
